Ted is familiar with leadership and organizational issues with extensive experience in legal and organizational consulting. Ted has a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, a Graduate Certificate in Organization Development from Eastern Michigan University and a B.A. in Economics from Wayne State University. Ted also has the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
Ted's work includes many aspects of for-profit and non-profit organizations and higher education institutions, including strategic planning, cultural transformations, succession planning, organizational assessment and collaborations and mergers.
Ted facilitates development of collaborative solutions. He has an extensive background with business disputes, has a certification in conflict resolution mediation and has been a court-appointed commercial mediator for seven years. Ted conducts conflict resolution and conflict management workshops and coaches on conflict issues.
Ted has worked extensively in diversity inclusion issues over the last 20 years with several awards and three certifications in diversity inclusion training. He is also MBTI qualified. Ted co-wrote “Transforming Diversity Trainers into O.D. Change Agents" and "Increasing Diversity of Leadership in Environmental Nonprofit Organizations in a Major Brownfield City: Phase 1".
His background includes extensive non-profit leadership experience. Ted was CEO of a national nonprofit start-up for 3 years, has served as President of the International Institute of Metro Detroit, of Model of Racial Unity, Inc., of the Detroit Metro Bar Association Foundation and has served on the boards of other organizations.
He also consults in team building, Board development and executive coaching. Ted is certified in Management Research Group’s Strategic Leadership Development process.
